This is the first in a series of illustrations of what I think the Planeswalker for each Modern Magic deck would be like. When I say Planeswalker I mean the deck pilot rather than a Planeswalker card like Lili or Karn. The guy (or gal) who is the progenitor of the strategy.
This one is for the Red Green Urzatron deck. His name is Royston Gracy Tronkite, Ruin Hunter. (Be prepared for more dumb names :D)
The deck is based around fancy lands, little trinkets and big artifact dudes. In that light I figured some kind of explorer would be apt.
With a satchel full of maps and guides he delves into the forgotten places in the wilds using nature magic as a compass and a little fire to scorch the place clean of gribblies. Those prepared to do a little digging can reap the rewards.
